Baddrol Bakhtiar Joins Wigan?

English Premier League Club, Wigan Athletic had offered a surprise trial offer to national football pleyer, Baddrol Bakhtiar.

The was the report brought by one of United Kingdom’s football website, early yesterday morning. The 23 year old player is currently playing for Kedah’s Super League Squad.

Baddrol has showed a tremendous performance for the past few years on the Malaysian League and he is now given the chance to take a trial test with Wigan.

Other than playing as a winger, his great ability to dribble and high agility would make him a good striker.

In 2008, Baddrol even spent two weeks to train with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge along with another player, Bunyamin Umar who is currently playing for Selangor’s Super League squad.

Thus, Wigan thinks that Baddrol had already known the level of football that is needed to compete in the English Premier League.

We were told that Baddrol is now under Wigan’s consideration based on the club’s chase to grab the chance of being able to make huge sales in Malaysia for their EPL merchandise.

Few famous players that are currently playing for the club this season are Chris Kirkland, Antolin Alcaraz, James McCarthy, Franco Di Santo, Hugo Rodallega and Ali Al Habsi.

Wigan, managed by Roberto Martinez will begin their EPL season by going against Norwich City in their home turf last night.
